We can not confirm 100%, but have been told this beautiful storage box is of English descent and very old. We love the claw feet that can turn in under the box if you desire, and the garland detail on the front. This box is in great, rustic condition. We have not polished it up as we adore the natural patina of the brass, however, it certainly could get shiny!
